What Scottsdale Community Centers Ask Us to Clean

Scottsdale's master-planned communities run real buildings, not just a pool gate. DC Ranch's Desert Camp community center, for example, lists a fitness center and fitness studio, men's and women's dressing rooms with lockers and showers, a family restroom with a shower, and indoor and outdoor event facilities. Across Grayhawk's Retreats there are seven community pools. These are examples of the rooms Scottsdale boards maintain, not a list of our clients.

  • Clubhouse and community-center lobbies: entry glass, front desk, seating and floors
  • Fitness rooms and studios: floors, mirrors, and the equipment touchpoints you list
  • Locker rooms, showers and pool restrooms, with restocking if the proposal includes it
  • Event rooms and catering kitchens: tables, counters, sinks and floors
  • Management, leasing and mail rooms
  • Trash and recycling from every agreed room

How Often Each Space Is Cleaned

Frequency follows how residents use each room. These are common starting points; the walkthrough sets your schedule.

Event-Room Resets Between Resident Rentals

Many Scottsdale communities rent rooms to residents. DC Ranch, for example, rents The Homestead's Grand Hall and Veranda, about 7,000 square feet for up to 100 guests, and smaller rooms at Desert Camp. Send us your rental calendar, and the proposal sets a reset after each booking so the room is ready for the next one.

Damage, decorations and belongings left behind are photographed and reported to the community manager, not treated as cleaning. Your rental deposit rules stay in your hands.

Lakes, Paths and Pool Decks Bring the Outside in

McCormick Ranch covers about five square miles with seven man-made lakes and more than 25 miles of bike paths, and Arizona's monsoon season runs June 15 through September 30 by the National Weather Service definition. Residents walk in from paths, lakeside parks and pool decks, so entries, mats and the first few yards of floor take the heaviest dirt.

At the walkthrough, agree whether entries, door glass and pool-restroom floors get extra attention in monsoon months, and whether that is part of every visit or a separate request after a storm.

A Proposal Your Board Can Approve

Under Arizona law (A.R.S. § 33-1804), meetings of a planned community's association and board are open to all members, so when your board votes on a cleaning contract, residents can attend and speak. The proposal is built for that meeting: every building and room listed, the visit days for each, what stays with other vendors, and one flat-fee quote.

If you manage several Scottsdale communities, one walkthrough day can cover them all, with a separate page for each board.
