- A planned town, not a suburb. Business partners K.T. Palmer and Tom Darlington conceived Carefree in the mid-1950s as a master-planned community. It incorporated in 1984 and had 3,690 residents in the 2020 census.

- Downtown on Easy Street. The 90-foot Carefree sundial, built in 1959, stands in Sundial Plaza inside the roughly four-acre Carefree Desert Gardens at 101 Easy Street.
- The Boulders. The Boulders Resort sits at 34631 N Tom Darlington Drive, among the granite boulder formations that give the area its look.

How Much Does House Cleaning Cost in Carefree?

Is Carefree Part of Cave Creek or Scottsdale?
Neither. Carefree is its own town, incorporated in 1984, with ZIP 85377. It borders Scottsdale to the south and east and Cave Creek to the west. We clean homes in all three.
Can You Open My Carefree Home Before I Arrive for the Season?
Yes. Send your arrival date and tell us which rooms were closed. We clean them in the days before you land, using the deep-cleaning prices by home size, then switch to regular visits while you are in town.
Can You Clean After I Leave for the Summer?
Yes. A departure clean leaves the kitchen, bathrooms and floors clean and the trash out. Add the inside of the refrigerator or oven if you want them cleaned before the house is closed, and we quote the visit before it happens.
