Know the NeighborhoodA 1960s Country Club Neighborhood Below Lookout Mountain
The Moon Valley Neighborhood Association records that Moon Valley I and II were mapped in 1960. Today about 1,600 homes sit across 29 subdivisions, with the private Moon Valley Country Club and its 18-hole championship course at the center. The association is voluntary, not an HOA, though Hillcrest and the Valle Luna cluster homes have their own HOAs.
Homes.com lists a median build year of 1979 and an average single-family home of about 2,039 square feet. That means one street can hold an early home, a full remodel, a newer custom build and a townhome, each with different floors and fixtures. We write the care method for each surface into your checklist before the first visit, so tile, stone and wood are treated the same way every time.
